April 5, 2012 – The Shiz launches “U R THE SHIZ” Campaign on
We introduced our “Y R U The Shiz” campaign at our local Jam ‘N Toast music festival and now we want to go world wide with the idea. We’ve launched a campaign to raise funds for a West Coast Tour, a soundtrack recording co-produced by David Craig, and a short film that documents how the people we meet respond to the question “Why are you The Shiz?” We’re already getting some cool testimonials and are looking forward to collecting stories about what lights up our world. Read more about the project at and please donate if you can.

February 28, 2012 – Help Lilli Get A New Computer for Her Birthday

Hey Everybody, Liz here. I want Lilli to have a new computer for her birthday. Her current computer is dying. The screen has all these lines running through it, and it’s too bad, because she does all of her work with this computer – recording, composing, web design, community organizing, etc. If 50 people donate $10, I’ll be able to get her another one! Please help. We all love Lilli and want her to be able to continue to do her work. Tell her happy birthday with this special gift!

March 16, 2011 – GRC HOUSTON 2011!!!

It’s Official! Liz and Lilli will be coaching at Girls Rock Camp Houston again this year. Last year was so inspiring thanks to Anna Garza and her amazing crew of volunteers and lady rockers. This year’s camp is August 1-7 and we’re planning on playing a show or two in the area while we’re out that way.

Last year, Liz’s group’s song landed a spot on the Girls Rock Camp Alliance: 2010 International Camper Band Compilation. Proceeds from the sale of these songs will go directly to supporting GRCA’s mission, mainly bringing camp organizers from all over the world to an annual conference where we provide training and networking opportunities fo our many and varied camp leaders.
